Shipping & Courier Disclaimer

Every Layered Creations Craft Box is carefully checked and securely packaged before it is handed over for delivery. We take reasonable care to ensure that your order leaves us complete, undamaged and appropriately packaged for normal courier handling.

Please note that once your parcel has been handed to your selected courier, delivery is carried out by an independent third-party courier service. To the extent permitted by law, Layered Creations cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, delays or mishandling caused by the courier while the parcel is in transit.

Courier options:

PAXI: PAXI provides limited protection for lost parcels of up to the value of the parcel or R500, whichever is less, subject to PAXI's applicable terms and conditions. PAXI does not provide cover for damage to the contents of a parcel.

The Courier Guy / PUDO Locker: This is generally the faster delivery option; however, Courier Guy's locker service does not include insurance or limited liability protection for loss or damage. Parcels sent using this option are therefore transported without loss or damage cover unless separate insurance has been arranged.

Own Courier: If you choose to arrange and pay for your own courier, responsibility for the collection and transport of the parcel rests with you and your chosen courier from the time the parcel is collected from Layered Creations.

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have selected your preferred delivery method, understand the level of protection attached to that delivery method, and accept the ordinary risks associated with courier transport.

Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit any rights that you may have under applicable South African consumer law.
